TAKE THAT TOM CRUISE.....

Actress Brooke Shields, who is appearing as Roxie Hart in the London production of “Chicago” has finally commented on Tom Cruise’s attack on her for taking antidepressants to cope with post-natal depression.

During interviews to promote his new film, “War of the Worlds,” Cruise has discussed his skepticism of psychiatry to explain his belief in the teachings of the Church of Scientology, founded by science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. The “L” in Hubbard’s name is for “laughing all the way to the bank.” Many experts believe the Church of Scientology is a cult which tries to control its members lives while collecting mucho bucks from them. Sounds like most religions to me.

As everyone knows, Cruise is a famous expert on everything. He wasn’t always this smart but after becoming a member of Scientology he has risen to genius status. “Before I was a Scientologist, I never agreed with psychiatry,” Cruise said. “And when I began studying the history of psychiatry, I understood more and more why I didn’t believe in psychology.” Tom added, “There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance.” Disputing the effectiveness of antidepressants generally, Cruise said, “All it does is mask a problem. There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance.” Mr. Cruise was awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree in Psychiatry from Adelman’s Tallis Shop.

Tom Cruise is probably the highest paid actor in motion pictures. He believes that entitles him to spout off on subjects that he has no knowledge of and attack others who don’t agree with him. One mustn’t forget that Cruise is an actor – a profession populated by nutcases and egomaniacs. And, those are the healthy ones. Tom is now a certified Cps – a certified public schmuck.

Brooke Shields called Tom’s comments “A disservice to mothers everywhere. To suggest that I was wrong to take drugs to deal with my depression, and that instead I should have taken vitamins and exercised by throwing myself on the ground and imitating a pair of tweezers shows an utter lack of understanding about postpartum depression and childbirth in general.” After making that statement Ms. Shields took a nap and woke up in the string section of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.

Brooke said her doctor prescribed Paxil for postpartum depression after she experienced despair and had suicidal thoughts following the birth of her daughter, Rowan Francis, in the spring of 2003. “My despair almost led me to drive my car into a wall with Rowan in the backseat. But the drugs, along with weekly therapy sessions, are what saved me and my family,” she said. In that she doesn’t own a car and never learned to drive might also have contributed to the incident not happening.

Tom Cruise is currently revising his auto-biography to include himself in it. Although he believes that he makes up the entire dialog he speaks in his pictures he is anxiously waiting for the script for his new movie, “A Giant Man Shits On Philadelphia.”
